anisotropy image

Hi,
I would like to know if Imagej can be used to generate an anisotropy image.
I have tryed but when I do the math with the images in both channels
(paralel and perpendicular) I only get a black image in wich every pixel is
0. I know that is because I get negative and fractional numbers, but how can
I overcome this problem? Thanks a lot
