Dear all,

I am currently evaluating images following the conversion of a
photoswitchable protein, in this case green to red.
I want to present the images in pseudocolors representing the ratio of
conversion. (e.g. from blue to red, the intensity in the red channel the
more yellow and vice versa).

Sounds simple, yet it isn't.

Originally I wanted to apply a LUT, but of course I cannot apply a LUT to
an RGB image, and applying it to my 8-bit single planes does not solve the
problem.

Next, I wanted to calcuate the ratio red/green with the integrated image
calculator. This seems to work, but I miss a LUT I can apply to the result
which adds colours to my image as I want.
Is there an (easy) possibility to create or modify a LUT? Is there a LUT
that has the following properties:
0...black
1-254...ramp over dark blue, light blue, dark green, light green, yellow
255...red

Thanks for any suggestions, replies...easier ways?!!!

Johannes
