Quantification of cellular networks

Dear ImageJ users,

our research group is interested in quantifying the extent of vascular
network formation. I would greatly appreciate whether you could suggest a
software/program/plugin for ImageJ that can count and calculate area of
the "branches" of such cellular networks.
