I just upgraded to IJ 1.42a and tried this on my Mac with 1 GB RAM with no problems.

    Mac OS X 10.5.5 and Java 1.5.0_16.

I just opened File -> Open Samples -> MRI Stack, and saved the 8 bit stack as TIFF's.
Can you do that?
If so, what kind of images do you have and what format were you trying to save?

Subject: MacOSX 10.5.5 ImageJ 1.42a, "File>Save As>Image Sequence..." fails to save images?

I have attempted to save images in a stack as a seuqence using the "File>Save
As>Image Sequence...", however, although processing appears to occur, images
are not saved. I have tried using 64bit ImageJ and ImageJ running on MacOSX
10.5.5 with no sucess. I have also attempted to use diffrent image format
within the "File>Save As>Image Sequence..." with no sucess. A search of my
hard drive failed to find the appropriatelly named files suggesting the
images are not saved in another directory. In addition, normal saving of a
single slice stack works. Could someone ssuggest a solution?

Running

MacOSX 10.5.5
4GB Ram

I cannot reproduce the MRI stack to image sequence. Again, the files do not show up.
