ImageJND2ReaderPlugin

ImageJ crashes when loading an ND2 image with this plugin....
happened after I switched to ImageJ 1.40 bundled with Java 1.6.0_05.. Used to work fine with 1.38 I had before. Tried to attach the crash report but got rejected.
Any suggestions?
What's the safe way to revert to 1.38?
