Dear Juan,
If the overlay is just for visualization purposes, you could try the
Concatenate_ plugin. To get an overlay with Concatenate_, use the option
'4D stack' with the 4th dimension set as 'Channels'. Once the new stack is
created, change to 'overlay' mode. The colour and window / levels can be
set independently for each component.
This requires both the Concatenate_ plugin and Image5D to be installed:
