Problem with creating and running shortcut for a macro

Hello experts,
I am trying to run a macro with a keyboard shortcut. I have already saved
the macro text file with "_" in plugins menu to save them as commands. For
one command, I assigned a shortcut key "u" and it worked very well. For the
second command, I assigned "U". But when I press "Shift+u", it opens the
macro's text window and doesn't launch the macro. I am running 1.41g.
