This is a feature (hold shift key down to open a macro instead of  
running it) that created a bug (shift key shortcuts do not work). The  
bug is fixed in the 1.41k daily build. To upgrade, use the  
Plugins>Utilities>Update ImageJ command and select "daily build" from  
the drop down menu.
