. I am really struggling with image addition and subtraction given me noisy / irreasonable results. I have three images (a) the reference image( dry voids) (b) the time series image( partially filed void) (c) The saturated image( completely filled void). I perform the following arithmetic
1. subtract image A from B to quantify the amount of fluid in void after a certain time
2. subtract image A from C to qualify the voids within the images
3. I ratio the result from 1 to 2 to quantify the realative concetration of fluid in voids at time of acquiring image 2.
Problem
. When i do my subtraction, i end up having negative pixels, whioch should not occur, how do i eliminate these pixels without compromising my data
When i ratio as described in step 3 above, i get values above 1 which is not logical, how do i remove values greater than 1 without compromising my data. I attach 3 images for anyone to please help me out. Thanks href="Reference-+dry+void.tif">Reference-+dry+void.tif
