Macro interface question....

I'm trying to write a macro which projects an image, then allows the  
user to select an ROI which is then cropped and further processed.
Is there a way of getting a macro to allow a user to define a ROI  
then continue the macro?
i.e. a little dialog box which says 'Select ROI then press ok to crop'.
