Subject: Camera Suggestions
Dear Listers,
I am currently researching a process to automatically classify
Palynological material, carrying on the work done by Andy Weller.
However, still using the equipment Andy used around 5 years ago we find
ourselves looking to invest in a new camera.
So my question to the list is does anyone have any suggestions to good
camera's.
It needs to be able to integrate with ImageJ through Windows, and
possibly Linux as well. The camera needs to be colour, and we feel that
even the cheapest camera would be able to provide sufficient resolution.
With the current setup we are using IJRobot to capture images through a
work around, ideally we would like to avoid this with new camera and
capture "directly" into ImageJ using a plugin such as TWAIN.
Thanks in advance.
Rhod
