DICOM export

Hi all

I've just had a rather frustrating couple of hours trying to get DICOM
export working.  I've found the dcmie DICOM Import / Export plugin and
dcm4che which dcmie requires, but I'm struggling to get it working.

I'm using Sun java on Ubuntu, running from /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/ and
the latest ImageJ, running in ~/ImageJ/

The main thing I want to do is export modified DICOMs (eg after painting
  out unwanted features) so that header information is maintained.

Any suggestions appreciated
