For DIC images, one would get an awesome amount of detail, since usually
one is forced to either saturete above or below.

So I'm all for it.

It would be nice if image acquisition software did it as an option.
Taking several images by hand will be a pain.

So MicroManager people, this is a flag we'd love you to take.
