2-D morphological characterisation

Dear all,
Is anybody has implemented a plug-in/macro to calculate Minkowski
functionals(that describe the morphological content of the 2D pattern,
namely the area, the perimeter U; and the Euler characteristic, the latter
describes the connectivity (topology) of the pattern).

I need to charectorise the crack pattern resulting from desiccation of
soils.
