Using TurboReg

Hi all.  I am having trouble figuring out how to use the TurboReg plugin.  I want to align two images; the user's manual assumes knowledge of the basics of image registration, though, and I know nothing. Can someone help? (I am at the level of TurboReg for Dummies)
