SV: corelation between pixel value to real scale

I assume that if you have 8-bit SEM images then you are just calculating the greylevel variation of the images, not the real roughness values. For calculating the roughness (e.g. Rq) you need to reconstruct the surface, using e.g. SEM stereo imaging.

The Analyze/Set scale... will only calibrate the x,y dimensions, not the heights (z).
