color average inside a ROI

Hi all.

I have just started using ImageJ for my research. I take pictures of
some uniformly colored beads. The imagine can contain beads of the same
colour or of many colours (imagine a picture of M&M's chocolat candies!).
Using ImageJ I have been able to get the ROI of the single beads. Now I
have to get the RGB triplets of each bead/ROI. In particular, I would like
to read the colour in some points inside each ROI (let's say 50 different
points or so, randomly chosed) and then average the data. The result would
be a file with ROI label (a number), centroid coordinates, ROI area,
average R, average G, average B.

I don't know anything about plugin or macro programming in JAVA so before
to try it I would like to know if there is around something already
available. Please, can anybody help me out?
