dear richard,
we have installed ImageJ 1.38n (upgrade ij.jar) on XP64 with 6GB RAM and
it works fine!
just note, that you have to install Java 64bit: eg.
jdk-6u1-windows-amd64.exe and tweak your ImageJ.cfg to use the 64bit JRE
and -Xmx3000m to use 3GB of your RAM.
also note, that *all* intel core (2) duo and dual/quad xenon models have
a 64bit architecture. with all other pentium 4 derivates you have to
figure out...
