Hi,
I need to capture analog monochrome video with ImageJ. I would
rather do this on OS X but it may have to be done in XP. I need to
capture standard NTSC video at standard video rates (30 frames/sec).
I have to be able to accept analog video so any type of USB or
Firewire camera is out of the question. I have two questions.
1. I looked at the WinVDIG hardware compatibility list (for USB and
Firewire cameras). It looks like things are a bit messy in general to
use the QuickTime plugin on XP.
2. I obviously need a Firewire or USB analog to digital converter. I
don't need ultra high quality video so I'm hoping to find a
relatively inexpensive A/D converter. I already have the camera. It's
Pulnix TM 540.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks, Phil
