Dear Members:

 

My inquiry relates to whether the anticipated purchase of the following camera

through Optronics/Olympus for phase contrast microscopy

would be compatabile with the ImageJ software.

 

The camera specifications are:



OMICROFR

S99809:MICROFIRE DIGITAL COLOR  CAMERA, 2MPIXEL, FIREW

OPTRONIC

Price: $5520.75 before tax inclusive of a 15% discount


The file formats are: tiff, jpg, and bmp
Microscope: Olympus CX41 RF-5
Problem: the blood storage lesion
Specimen: refrigerated live red blood cells (RBCs)
Microscopy: study of RBC morphology inclusive of cell perimeters
areas, and form factors.
