quantification of mitochondria

Dear all,

I would like to quantify area, length, numbers etc of mitochondria in
mitochondrial networks (to look at fusion of mitochondria). I am looking for
the right plugins to convert a confocal 3D-image to a computerized
reconstruction and the right tools to analyze these recontstructions. Can
anyone help me?
