I´m a bit confused! You are trying to do exactly what?
Interface the camera to WHAT software? To ImageJ or to Labview or to Visual
Basic?
Or to ImageJ via Labview / Visual Basic? I would not recommend trying this!
Anyway, there is a Labview Student Edition, maybe it helps
http://www.ni.com/labviewse/Regarding Visual Basic (.NET), there is a free yet pretty complete "Express
Edition" from MS

IEEE 1394 cable.
