Hi everyone interested (or not) by this topic,
I am interested firstly by determining the line-contour of a water jet:
the goal being to get its fractal dimension (the drops or threads having
been removed).
On the other hand, I wish also to isolate the whole drops to analyse the
fractal dimension of their set.
As you can see on the 2 pictures (see.
ftp://ftp.cemagref.fr/public/IMAGE_J) , the elements are not frankly
distinguishable (in my opinion). So I tried to manage with "treshold",
"selection-clear outside", "subtract background", "invert","find edges"
and various combinations : but one can get as many end-figures as
trials!! Could the photos quality be inadequate or is it possible even
though to work with? How?
Thanks for your attention
André
