counting piels

Hello,
i am new in this mailing list and have a question.
Previously i used nih image on a mac on os9, and now i use imagej on
osx. Before, i could count the pixels on an area with the tool
"measure", and i can't find how to do with imagej. Is there somebody who
can help me?
