Gary,
Yes, there seems to be a problem with some server in China that sends the
messages back to the list. in the sender's name (look at the headers of the
message, where this is coming from, there is a .cn server in there).
Not sure what to think of this, either a badly setup server/mailer, or a very
clueless list member forwarding the messages back to the list (the annoying
thing is that the messages are sent back with the faked headers, since the
look as if you sent the message).
One possibility is to block the ip addresses of the server and sender at the
list server level. This is likely to stop it because the messages seem to
come always from the same domain.
Some list members have not realised this and keep acknowledging the fake
messages as well (that is why there are sometimes duplicates in the list).
