problem with Large Montage plugin

Hi All,

I was wondering whether anyone has used the Large Montage plugin.

This is a plugin which reads a series of images and stitches them
together into a montage.

I was having problems when running the plugin.

When I ran the plugin, it ran OK for the most part.

It stitched successfully the series of images into a montage.
However, the colours were altered.  The background was changed from
black to white and the objects in the image, which were green, were
changed to pink.  Also the resolution of the montage decreased significantly.

The description of the plugin states that the output is in PNM format
and I wonder whether that is the problem.

I appreciate any advice or help.

Or if there is any other montage plugin that works well that anyone
would recommend.
