I have series of single tiff images of histological sections of an organ. They need to be aligned requiring translation and rotation, and maybe morphing, with the goal of getting a 3D rendering that would allow to follow one structure in space, over several sections. This seems to be a general enough problem for someone to have figured an easier way to do. Right now I align images one by one in Photoshop manually then import them in ImageJ and use Volume J for rendering. Is there a faster way to align? Is there a way to preserve color?
Thank you all for the very many things I learned on this list and Wayne and all plugins writers for their contributions!
