I have longed for a 3D ROI tool for years, to no avail.
Measure Stack plugin sort of does it, but I do not have a lot of experience with
it. You draw ROIs on slices in a stack and it interpolates between them to get
a volume count.
Also the Multi Measure plugin expands the ROI manager to aid in drawing a series
of ROI in a stack to sort of get 3D ROIs.
Neither shows the object in 3D, just working with a stack.

Subject: yoking cursor across different planes of section
Dear Group,
Yesterday, I wrote to the group asking if anyone had drawn ROIs that updated
in all three planes of section for a volume.
Sadly, no one has come forward with a super plugin...so now I have a more
modest question:
Can I view 3 planes of section for a volume and yoke the cursor? Right
now, I do not get accurate coordinates for any volume which I have
rotated...that is, my original x,y, and z are not kept and x simply
corresponds to across the screen, y up and down and z through the slices...
Thanks again,
Dianne
