command for size distribution in different bins

Hello,
 
I use the analyze function to - count the number of particles and area of each particle and get a size distribution in different bins.
 
1) Is there a command in Image J which I can use to write a plugin to be able to do this for a series of images in a stack - especially getting the size distribution in different bins for each slice in a stack.
2) Is it also possible to input the size of bin you need?
