Append a text in an existing file

Hi,

         I would like to automatically save data after an "Analyze
Particles..." in a MACRO file. To do so I run the measurement and:

             selectWindow("Results");
             run("Text...", "save= /data/mydata.dat");

This works fine, but I would now like to append the next result (from
another image) in the same file (instead of getting many files...), is
there a way to do so with the MACRO commmand?
