Append a text in an existing file

Hi ,

         I would like to automatically save data after an "Analyze
Particles..." measurements in a macro file.
So after the measurement I run a classic :
             selectWindow("Results");
             run("Text...", "save= /data/mydata.dat");
This works just fine, but I would now append the next result (another
image) on the same file. I could not get this to work properly… It might
seem a bit silly, but I did not find the solution. I though maybe someone
as a solution?
