Problem with Dicom format

Dear all,

I am trying to analyze images taken with Siemens Magnetom Sonata. The images
are on Dicom format and I use Image J version 1.35f.

The problem is that I don´t know if it is possible to read the sequence
information of the Dicomdir file with Image J. Now I just know how to open
one image or a set of images but because I don´t know how to read the
Dicomdir I can´t distinguish the images belonging to the different
sequences. This poses a problem because I have 500 images from every patient
(about 70 of them) and finding out which files belong to which sequence
manually using Show info feature of Image J would take ages.

I found quite similar question from the questions archive from year 2001 but
couldn´t find the answer.  So I would be really grateful is someone could
tell me whether there is a solution to this problem or not.
