Hello I worked during 3 years for one of the companies listed bellow
(now I'm doing "public research")... The problem of prices is that all
these softwares have multiple modules and of courses the final price
could be very different from the list price because comercial issues.
I - Acqusition + Image data base + simple mesures is between "free" to
2500 €
II - I + Threshold + analyse particles + macros, etc (ImageJ like,
without all the advanced plugins, i.e. deconvolution, 3D) about 5000 €
III - I+II+ Deconvolution + 3D reconstruction, etc = more than 10000 €
This very very large... just I could suggest to ask a quotation but just
say that "this is for include in an application for a grant" in this
case you will have the raw listprice...
If you want the e-mail of people in charge of Image Analysis software in
these companies (France) contact me off-line, they are all very nice and
they will be very happy to help you !
All the best, Leon
