Citing Image J

Hi list,

As many I use ImageJ in an academic research program and I would like  
to cite it (ans several plugins) in a the papers I am writing. How  
should I do so? Is there a proof of concept paper published  
somewhere? Should I cite only ImageJ or the plugins also? ... anyway:  
how are you doing, all of you who use ImageJ, to acknowledge its  
great features in your research articles?
