Cell contraction

Hi,
Originally I have a .avi file where a myocyte is contracting.
Thanks to another user I managed to reslice the stack, displaying the contraction like in the attached file. (X=time Y=spatial information)
I want to measure the distance between the top grey and bottom bright lines, and display the value for each X pixel. How can I do it?
