Working with Leica Image Files

Hi there,

Does anyone have a simple method for extracting timestamps for *.lif files?

I believe this may be possible using bio-formats but I haven't been able to
get anything to work.

For completeness
each *.lif file contains multiple image stacks derived from a
multi-dimensional type acquisition series.

Any help would be much appreciated.
