Hi everyone,

I just saved a (hyper?)stack as an avi file, but when I try to open the avi
with QuickTime, I get an error saying the file is malformed -- am I doing
something wrong?   The steps I used to create the stack were:

1. Within the 3D Viewer, I used 'View > Record 360 deg rotation' to create
a stack (automatically) named 'Movie'.
2. Then, within Fiji proper, I used 'File > Save As > AVI'.

I tried several times, with varied choices of the compression and frames
per second parameters, but all of the resulting avi files gave the same
error message:
"The movie “Movie.avi” can’t be opened because the file is not in a format
that QuickTime Player understands."

Thanks in advance for your help,
David
