Good day David,
with the newer QuickTime versions, Apple has reduced the support of
certain Codecs. One of the now missing Codecs is that for WRAW in
avi-Container which is what you would need for IJ-non-compressed avi movies.
There are ways around this problem. Just do a web-search for "QuickTime
& WRAW". One solution mentioned there is to install an older QuickTime
version.
"VLC" and "WMV Player" (Flip4Mac) play WRAW in avi-Container.
