ROIs out of 3D objects counter?

Hello!



I am trying to count small bright objects included in larger less intense somewhat spherical objects.  Using the 3D Objects Counter in FIJI/Analyze I can get nice identification and counts of the larger 3D objects.  Now it would seem easy to make each of them a region of interest but I am at a loss on how to do it.  Below is an orthogonal cut through the top orange object to give an idea of how this looks.   Anyone can please help?
