Hi,

We're seeking a tool that can automatically determine if a sheet of paper randomly placed in each of a series of digital photo images is blue or white.  The tool needs to be automated - ie, be able to read each image without human intervention.  It should be able to find the piece of paper and determine if the paper is completely white or if it has some blue (or green) in it.  Nice-to-have - if the tool could also take some measure of how much blue is on the piece of paper.  Image source is a standard smart-phone.

Larry Reinking suggested we post to this list as being a very knowledgable group, and are wondering if you could point us in the direction of potential tools?

Thanks,

Tim Bernstein
