Hi Tim,
do you want to analyze the image(s) online in the smart phone with an app?
What size is the filed of view? Is this size well defined or does it
vary much? How much?
What size is the paper? What variations in the location of the paper, it
size and perspective torsions are to be expected?
What is the content of the field of view and what are the variations?
(Is there a strong and well defined contrast between paper and surrounding?)
can you send some example images?
Regards,
Peter

The tool needs to be automated - ie, be able to read each image without human intervention. It should be able to find the piece of paper and determine if the paper is completely white or if it has some blue (or green) in it. Nice-to-have - if the tool could also take some measure of how much blue is on the piece of paper. Image source is a standard smart-phone.
