Help with image processing project.

Hello everyone,

I am doing my MSc research on the subject of CBIR. I have
thought of using imagej to develop a web based CBIR application. I intent to
write a java web application. At the moment I want to write a simple web
application to test certain CBIR methods.


I am new to imagej and confused exactly how to use imagej
for this purpose. I want to include imagej within my web application so I could
use methods in imagej for image feature extraction, image filtering etc.
If anyone could help me how to do this I really appreciate it.
If you could direct me to a tutorial explaining the above it would be great.
