java7

Happy new year to everybody.
I am using Fiji and ImageJ on a mac running under 10.9.1 with both java 6 and java 7 installed. When I lauch either Fiji and ImageJ I noticed that the java version that is used is java 6. If I lauch ij.jar from the command line it is java 7 that is used. I would like to know how to use java 7 when the application is launched by double click. Do you know how to do this ?
