Measure diameter of inscribed and circumscribed circles of particles

Hi!

I want to run a plugin, which measures the diameter of the maximum inscribed circle and of the minimum circumscribed circle from a particle. Does anybody know if such a plugin already exists or which plugin could be modified easily to reach this.
