TrackMate "Found 0 spots"

Dear TrackMate users,

I've been trying to use TrackMate v2.1.1 on Fiji 1.48o (Java 1.6.0_24[64 bit]) and no matter what I do with the estimated blob diameter and threshold (in either LoG or DoG) I can't get it to find the spots, which are quite clearly seen at 1x2 um in x20 mag. Each spot is about 6 pixels in diameter. I'm working in grayscale 8-bit tif. The spots are bright gray over a dark gray/black background. Any other details needed?

Does anyone have any idea what to do? Is it a version thing?
