Sperm motility analysis

I'm trying to figure out how to use the image J for sperm motility analysis, I found some papers and one step by step protocol to make a try, seems very complicated compared to the commercially available CASA system. Anybody have some thoughts about this application?
What kind of  video camera is good for this function?  Any comments or suggestions would be good to hear.
