Bio-Formats Memory Usage

Hi, this is Ahmad Raza Khan when I am trying to open a LIF file on image j (1.48 u)
I am wondering while I am trying to open a file of size  300MB  image j shows the following messages,

"It requires approximately 16978 MB to open this dataset. However only 7016 MB is currently available"


I am using  windows 7 with 8GB ram. Please help to sort it out this issue.
