Thanks a lot, Sanjay and Wayne,
 A mix of both advices worked: Flattening either from the "Image- overlay"
or in the ROI manager menu worked,  and "copy to system" solved the
problem. It's funny I was half a sleep, half dreaming last night and an
inner voice was telling me " flatten overlay. And in the morning i see
your answer in the e mail.

*A "Bonus" question - How to copy or print the Captured screen?*
