Hi Philippe,
adjusting a threshold without resetting B&C is also on my wishlist since quite a while, so I have had a look at it and it seems that it is not very easy to implement.
The nicest way to do it would be using an overlay for the threshold instead of manipulating the LUT (these days it would be fast enough), but this would be a lot of work and I don't know whether it wouldn't break some old macros. An overlay would also have the advantage of full accuracy for 16-bit and float data.
