Window closing is causing issues

Dear List,

As of recently we have had quite a few problems with closing windows in Fiji runnin under Win7 x64 (all up to date)


1.      When opening an image (One of the samples for instance). If you close it and look under the "Window" menu, it is still listed! Some people reported that upon reopening the same image, the newly opened image gets a '-1' appended as though an image with the same name was already opened. This we could not replicate but the closed windows appearing in the 'Window' menu could be reproduced.



2.      Sporadically, Fiji will not close. We have seen the posts about it http://imagej.net/2014-07-11_-_Fiji_won%27t_quit
But this still happens. We have not managed to replicate the exact conditions on which it happens and will keep the list updated when we know the actions that lead to the problem.
